About Ross F. Grumet, M.D.

Sleep-rest-fatigue complaints are the most common presenting issues he sees, followed by depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, substance use, cognitive and attention issues, and other psychiatric disorders.  Ross F. Grumet, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist in active clinical practice, a life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, with extensive experience treating sleep disorders as part of his general practice.

His education includes the Bronx High School of Science, Columbia College (Columbia University), SUNY Downstate Medical Center, psychiatry residency at the Menninger Clinic and School of Psychiatry, Chief Resident at the Mt. Sinai Hospital (New York City), candidate three years at Columbia University Psychoanalytic Clinic for Training and Research. His continuing education, consulting, and teaching are extensive (link to CV).

Current memberships include American Psychiatric Association, Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association, Florida Medical Association, American Society for Clinical Psychopharmacology, American Society for Clinical Hypnosis, American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
